What the heck does SOLA, Solo mean?
SOLA, Solo is a blog (primarily a photoblog) about South Louisiana. When I moved to Baton Rouge from the Midwest a few years ago, I thought I understood the rich cultural heritage and unique geography of this part of the world. I was wrong - it's far more interesting than I had imagined. Most of my adventures and photography happen while I'm out on my own, on little business daytrips. Thus the name of the blog - discovering SOuth LouisianA, solo.
